Broader Community
The local Church can so easily slip into selfishness where the focus and the finances are targeted to the very real needs of the church community. At Riverview, although we must well resource the local church, we also have a heart to do many things that impact a broader community. Not because of convenience, not because we get anything out of it, but because they are examples and mandates found in the very heart of the Gospel.
So whether we are working in the Community Services area, through the Children's Foundation or through building Church unity, the end result is to affect other people's lives with pragmatism and truth.
As we continue to support and build these vital areas we will continue to grow, in the expertise of our partners, the number of people involved in volunteering and also the amount of extra resources flowing in to support the multiplicity of worthy goals Riverview supports in the broader community.
