 Riverview Church is looking for a Youth Connect Group Pastor.

This permanent, full-time role is responsible for the implementation of connection and discipleship strategies for the Youth of Riverview church.  It is also responsible for Youth administration and the execution of Youth related programmes and events.
 
Some of the key competencies, requirements and attitudes are:
 
Essential
Passionate about God, the church and the possibilities as well as challenges for young people
Symmetry & alignment with the beliefs, values and theology of Riverview Church (outlined in Partnership/Volunteer handbooks)
History of serving and leading others in leadership capacity (voluntary or paid roles)
Ability to strategically plan, implement and build teams
Ability to relate well to a wide variety of people, particularly young people (high relational intelligence) – inside and outside of the church
Administrative & organisational skills - understanding of necessity of systems and processes for accountability, health and support
Sound pastoral skills and ongoing pastoral training
 
Desirable
Proven history in youth or young adult leadership context - preferably in a large youth ministry
Strong public speaking skills
Familiarity with new technology and current youth culture
Theological training
