The Board of Riverview Church, made up of both Partners of Riverview Church and several external members, provides governance. The role of the Board is to ensure that the Senior Minister and the Leadership Team have a clear vision for the Church and to govern and oversee the legal and financial aspects of the ministry in accordance with the constitution.

The function of the Senior Minister and Leadership Team is to give the vision and strategic leadership to the staff and the Church, using wisdom and discernment to ensure that our Church remains on a true biblical course.

Riverview Church Inc. is a non-profit incorporated association under the leadership and oversight of the Board.
The Riverview Group encompasses Riverview Church Inc., Riverview Media Inc., Riverview Children's Foundation Inc., Riverview Community Services Inc. and Regent College Inc.
Before the beginning of each new financial year, a comprehensive budget is tabled for the Board to review and approve. The Business Manager works with the Leadership Team and Department Leaders to compile the budget that reflects the priorities and passions of the Church.
During the year, the Business Manager monitors and reviews the progress of the organisation with the approved budget and ensures that all internal procedures are being followed. These findings, along with other key financial information, are communicated to the Board at their quarterly meetings. The Board ensures that all appropriate financial processes and practices are carried out in accordance with professional accounting standards.
The organisation is audited each year by MGI Bridge Partners. The audited financial statements of the organisation are available on request. As a non-profit association, the property and income of Riverview Church shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objectives of the association. Board Members receive no income from the association unless employed in a salaried position.
