Does My Church Qualify?

The only criteria to determine whether a church qualifies for membership to the 500Plus Church Network is whether the church has an average weekend service(s) attendance of over 500.

What Are The Costs Involved?

There are no joining costs or ongoing costs involved in being part of 500Plus, with the exception of Registration Fees at the Conferences. Costs associated with attending the Conferences are met by the participants themselves (e.g. airfares, accommodation, meals)

What Types Of Churches Belong To 500Plus?

500Plus is currently made up of churches from a wide variety of denominations and movements (including Baptist, Anglican, Assemblies Of God, and so on) and independent alike.

This is precisely the point of the 500Plus Church Network, that despite differences in style between some of these churches, they recognise that due to having 500 or more attendees they share much in common, including church culture issues, staffing matters, mission and so on.

How Do I Join The 500Plus Church Network?

Application to join can be made by simply completing the Form on this website.

Who Attends The Conferences?

Pastors Conferences: To maintain the peer nature of these events they are restricted to senior ministers and their spouses.

Business Conferences: Executive ministers, business managers, finance and administration managers and the like.

Who Pays For The Conferences?

Each attendee meets their costs involved with the Conference (incl. accommodation, airfares, registration, meals).

What Can I Expect At A Conference?

Each 500Plus Conference is intentionally relationally strong, with a relaxed and brief interactive programme each day designed to allow maximum time for sharing and fellowship.

We don't bring in a big name speaker; instead participants, at the direction of the Convener, give the input.

In addition to the Pastors Conferences, the 500Plus Church Network hosts Conferences every 18 months for the business managers, executive pastors, finance managers, and the like from 500Plus churches throughout Australia and New Zealand.
