Welcome to the April edition of South News!
April heralds one of the busiest times in our church calendar with our numbers historically swelling over the 10,000 mark over the Easter weekend. Please join us in praying that those who participate in our Good Friday and Easter weekend services are truly blessed by their experience.
With our new TV ad currently on air, and the impetus toward church attendance at this time of year, we are expecting many visitors and are praying for each one of them to be touched by their experience of faith and ‘church’. Of course, this is a great time to extend the invitation to your own family, friends, neighbours or associates to come along and check out one of our many services.

YOUTH BUS – REGISTER YOUR INTEREST
We have a fantastic youth program on Friday nights at the City Campus from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for high school students. We realise it may be difficult to transport you teenagers to the City on Friday nights so we currently run a bus every Friday night during the school term departing Winthrop Baptist College car park at 6.00pm and returning at 10.00pm.
The youth team and their south bus driver Ross White, would love to extend this route to start from Cockburn Central to allow high school students who live further south the opportunity to come along. We are also looking at a second pick-up point in the Willetton area. If you would use a bus departing from Cockburn Central, we would love to hear from you so we can let you know when it commences. Please contact Chelsea Jones at the church office or email youth@riverviewchurch.com.au
