We hope you are having a fabulous autumn, enjoying the changing hues and falling leaves on these last few days of warm weather before the winter sets in!

Our next Hertime Occasion will be held on Wednesday 23rd May and Thursday 24 May at the Burswood Campus.  Join hundreds of other ladies for a truly wonderful and fun-filled evening as we look at Jane Austen’s Guide to People.  The evening commences at 7pm with refreshments in the foyer and features entertaining speakers, music, comedy and gifts for everyone.  Tickets are just $20 and are available online at www.riverviewchurch.com or pick them up at the Info Desk this Sunday.  This is a great opportunity to invite other ladies for a great night out so make sure book early for you and your family and friends.

Following the huge success of the Big Weekend last November, we will be holding our Winter Big Weekend in June from Friday 15th to Sunday 17th.  Guests include Mark and Darlene Zchech so make sure you mark your diaries now and stay tuned for more details to come.  You don’t want to miss it!

If you would like to accelerate your spiritual growth then our new mid-week training course - Accelerate - is for you.

Accelerate provides the opportunity to learn and grow together as we study God's word in a more detailed way.  Each week, approximately 90 people attend our Cockburn Central Campus Accelerate programme.  Sessions run from 7.30-9.00pm with a short refreshment break included. Our Children’s Teams do an incredible job under the leadership of our South Co-ordinator Sharon Wilson. We are currently in urgent need of new volunteers for this very important area of ministry.

We are looking for committed, caring and enthusiastic workers in all areas including Administration, Toddlers, Little People’s (ages 3-5) and Primary Zone.  If you are interested in attending a training night or want to find out more, please don’t hesitate to talk with Sharon Wilson on Sunday or contact her at the church office on Wednesdays or Thursdays or alternatively email sharonw@riverviewchurch.com.au for more details. 

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in being part of our South Social Events Team.  This team will help organise key social functions at our Campus each quarter.  If you love organising get-togethers or networking with other people, or just think this sounds like fun, then we would love you to be involved!  Please contact Alyson Passauer at the church office on 94160194 or email alysonp@riverviewchurch.com.au to register your interest.

Ladies, if you would like to meet other ladies from Cockburn Central Campus at Hertime Days or would like to share a ride to Hertime Days, we would like to hear from you.  Hertime Days is Riverview’s ministry especially for women seeking purposeful spiritual growth and community.  Hertime Days meets every Thursday fortnight at the Burswood Campus from 10:00-11:30am.  Children’s facilities are available.  If you would like to attend or find out more, please contact Shirley Sargeson by emailing shirls@iinet.net.au or alternatively register your details at the Info Desk on Sunday, and Shirley will contact you directly.

Finally, on behalf of all at the Cockburn Campus we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Dave Ryder and his beautiful bride Andrea Ballantyne, who were married on Saturday 5 May.  May your life together be truly blessed!  In Dave’s absence, Chelsea Jones will be our Connect Pastor at the Cockburn Central Campus for the month of May.  We know you will join us in making Chelsea welcome.
