I know it’s not quite the end of June yet, actually we’re only at the beginning, but there are a couple of things we wanted to let you all know about that just couldn’t wait until July’s e-letter.  So here we go…

As leaders we are feeling the need to really press into God right now.  We would love for as many of you as possible to join us in a day of prayer and fasting for our church.  Below are some areas we will be focusing our prayers on.
· Growth of the church
· That Cockburn would be a house of salvation and healing
· An increase in the spiritual temperature
· For more volunteers in all areas
· Miracle offering – 29th June
· Phil & Heather and their leadership

We’re having another coffee night this Wednesday.  If you missed the first one, you want more practice or you would just like to catch up over some soup then we would love to see you there.  It’s at 6pm for a 6:30pm start with dinner provided.  If you’re keen just let Hilary know (hilary.elliott@riverviewchurch.com.au ).

We started our first Ignite course last week with Ian Wilson teaching both sessions. The feedback from the night was extremely positive and this week we will have Adrian Grant teaching on “Who is God?” 

Ignite kicks off at 7:30pm with dinner available in the café from 7pm for $4.  You are all welcome to attend and we would love to see you there especially if you have never been to Discovery or to Ignite.

Also just wanted to let you know that we need you all to register for the Paintballing as soon as possible.  There are 20 places available so if you are planning on coming, please register and pay at the Info Desk this Sunday.

The cost is $50 and the day will start with a BBQ lunch at 12:30pm at World Series Paint Ball in Baldivis.  The cost covers your equipment, first 200 rounds and lunch.

Just a quick reminder to the girls to register for the chick flick also…
