This is going to be a huge month at Riverview so strap yourselves in and get ready for the ride.  The Gathering is starting this Wednesday night and the expectation surrounding these Wednesday night meetings is building and building.  We want as many of our partners there as possible so do whatever you have to do to be at the Burswood Campus at 7pm this and every other Wednesday for the month of June.

VOLUNTEERING & PARTNERSHIP
Becoming a partner and volunteering at Riverview are two key ways to get connected and to get involved.  Being a partner of Riverview Church simply means that you understand the direction and vision that the church has and want to join us on the journey.  If you’ve been coming along to Riverview for a while but you haven’t committed to partnership and volunteering then go back to the Lounge after the service and have a chat to one of our volunteers.

YOUNG ADULTS:  5th JUNE - MEXICAN, MACCHIATO & MOVIE NIGHT
Com and join us at Zocalo Mexican Restaurant Safety Bay (corner Safety Bay & Penguin Road) @ 7pm. Bookings for the dinner are essential and numbers are required by the 3rd June. Dinner will be followed by a movie at Rockingham Hoyts and then to a cafe after the movie for coffee.  Please email Adam to RSVP.

KIDZCHURCH ANNOUNCEMENT: ROOM CLOSURE TIME – 10:30AM
All parents could you please note that we will be closing all KidzChurch rooms at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.  The reason for this is that when we admit children after this time it is often very disruptive for the other children in the room and then consequently very disruptive for our volunteers who are usually trying to start the morning program at this time.  It’s important to remember that KidzChurch isn’t just about having your children looked after but it is Church for your children and a vital part of their spiritual development. If you do arrive after 10:30am we ask that you keep your child with you through the service.

FEAST: THIS SUNDAY
Grab a friend or invite anybody to have a bite to eat at your house or a restaurant after church. The first weekend of every month. This is a great opportunity to make our church local.

HERTIME DAYS: THURSDAY, 18th JUNE @ 10AM
This will be the last Hertime Days at Cockburn before the school holidays so if you’re a woman come along and get fed – physically, spiritually and emotionally.

SOUPA SUNDAY: 14TH JUNE
Winter is now upon us so make sure you hang around after the service for a heart-warming cup of homemade soup.

ACCELERATE: WILL NOT BE RUNNING IN JUNE
Because of “The Gathering” meetings every Wednesday night, Accelerate will be taking a break for the month of June.  This is because we want as many Riverview partners to be able to attend the Gathering meetings.

PRAYER MEETING: 7:30AM EVERY WEDNESDAY MORNING
Come and join us for a powerful hour of prayer for our church and our city.  Also, if you have a prayer need please let us know.

MENS BREAKFAST: 30th JUNE @ 7AM
If you’re a man come along and get inspired, get fed and get caffeinated.  Register and pay your $10 at the Info Desk on Sunday.

OP SHOP AFTERNOON TEA: 27TH JUNE @ 2PM
Come along and enjoy an afternoon and help raise money for the Children’s Foundation.  For more info, contact Hilary.

BADMINTON
If you are keen to get physical there is a group who meet to play Badminton on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Sampson Recreation Centre. Anyone who would like to join is welcome. Please contact either Rob O'Malley on 93311721 or Harold Green 040 9684786 for more info.
