Wow!  The past month was a bit of an emotional roller coaster wasn’t it?  No time to rest on our laurels however (what is a “laurel” anyway?) as this ride is not over yet.  This month will see us continuing with the theme “Faith” with the focus being on people of faith.  As we continue in the Faith let’s take a look at what’s happening around Cockburn in July…

YOUNG ADULTS: WORSHIP NIGHT – 13TH JULY
Here at the Cockburn Campus.  A night of worship for all young adults of Riverview Church.  Starts at 7:30pm.

We are looking for some new blood to fill some gaps in our service teams roster.  If you're friendly and happy to serve then let us know. 

HOSPITALITY TEAM
If you love to serve others in a food and beverage context then we have the role for you.  Our hospitialy team could do with a few more helping hands.  If you're interested, contact Hilary.

DALE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL 24HR BASKETBALL GAME
Dale Christian School is holding a fundraiser to raise money for a missions trip to Thailand.  They are looking for people to sponsor students who will be playing a 24hr game of basketball.  For more information or to sponsor please contact Corinne.

<<<OUR NEXT SOCIAL EVENT>>> CHRISTMAS IN JULY: 24TH JULY
 We are going to be getting together for a gorgeous roast dinner with all of the trimmings at Elizabethan Village.  So organise the baby sitter and get ready for a great night out.  The cost is $27 per head and you can register and pay at the Info Desk. For more info contact Hilary.

A DAY TO TREASURE: 22ND AUGUST
Oz Family Life is presenting the 1 day course, A Day to Treasure at the Cockburn Campus.  The cost is $70 per couple if you book before the end of July, then it’s $80 and includes morning and afternoon tea, lunch and all course materials.  This is a day for you to invest in your marriage.  It starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm.  To register, just send me an email.

IGNITE: FOUNDATIONS OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH COURSE
We will be starting Ignite on the 2nd August.  It will run during the service in the meeting room upstairs and will commence after worship at approximately 10:30am for 6 weeks.  To register, send me an email or go back to the Info Desk after the service.

HERTIME DAYS: TERM 3
The dates for term 3 will be the 30th July, 27th August and the 24th September.  Mark these dates in your diary and keep a look out for the new flyer that will be coming out in the next couple of weeks. 

BABY DEDICATION: 5TH JULY
If you have a baby or child that you would like to have dedicated this weekend let me know.

ACCELERATE
Will be taking a break from the Cockburn Campus for a while.  It will still be running at the Burswood Campus on a Monday night at 7:30pm and is still available to podcast.

PRAYER MEETING: 7:30AM EVERY WEDNESDAY MORNING
Come and join us for a powerful hour of prayer for our church and our city.  Also, if you have a prayer need please let us know.

MENS BREAKFAST: 28th July @ 7AM
