Every Sunday we gather to celebrate who God is and what He has done. These celebrations are the highlight of our week as we worship Jesus and catch up with others here at Riverview. They are vibrant, uplifting and impacting and run for around 80 minutes. We sing modern worship songs and our teaching is always insightful, practical and helpful. No matter where you are on your own faith journey we’re sure you will leave feeling glad that you came!
Attending a new church can sometimes be a little overwhelming - we've all been there! But here at Riverview, we want to welcome you and help you get settled in quickly. So make sure to drop into Connect and pick up a Welcome Gift and meet our team at any of our weekend celebrations.
If you'd like a snack whilst visiting us, our in-house café, Milk & Honey Kitchen is open at Burswood for barista-made coffee, sweet treats and our famous hot chips. You’re also welcome to enjoy a free tea or coffee and a biscuit at our refreshment areas at all our locations.
Joining us with your children? Riverview Kids is for everyone aged 6 weeks to year 6 and where your children can enjoy a fun, safe and interactive program - running during every weekend celebration. When you arrive, just visit the Kids Hub located in the foyer.
Bringing a baby? Your family is most welcome here. We have designated easy seating for parents with prams in the Auditorium and a Parent’s Room for nappy changes and feeding. There’s also a relaxed Family Zone where you can watch the celebration with your child if they become unsettled or aren’t able to join Riverview Kids. At our weekend celebrations multiple times throughout the year we also hold Baby Dedications. Click the button below to find out more.
If you’re new to Riverview, and would like to connect with our church you’re invited to our Welcome to Riverview Lunch! This is the perfect next step where you'll learn more about Riverview, meet our leaders and share a light meal with us. It’s designed to help you better understand why we exist, where we going, and how you can be involved. It’s always a great spread and you’ll feel at home in no time.
You can even bring your children, as lunch is provided for them too, and they'll have great fun hanging with our amazing Riverview Kids team. These lunches happen bi-monthly at Burswood and Joondalup. Lunch is on us but registration is essential.
So come join us - there's a place at the table just for you!
Christianity. What’s it all about?
If you're wondering what a Christian believes or you want to know what Riverview emphasises when it comes to faith, Starting Point is the place to ask your questions about life and God.
Starting Point is a conversation, not a classroom. It's a interactive group where you can explore faith, discuss your doubts, and experience authentic community. You're welcome to join us at Burswood or Joondalup it's free, but registration is essential!
Sharing our lives by meeting regularly in groups through our city is key to a vibrant and healthy spiritual life. To belong at Riverview means to be committed to doing the journey in a group – to know, serve and support each other through the seasons, challenges and changes in life. These are the spaces where we encourage each other to grow as we together follow Jesus. Join a group today!
We believe that honouring God with our finances is an essential part of following Jesus. This includes giving generously to our faith community as an expression of our commitment to one another and our dependency on God. Contributing to the vision of our church and the needs of our community is a personal and practical way of showing our love for both God and each another.
Deciding how much to give is a matter between you and God so we encourage you to thoughtfully and prayerfully seek Him about what to contribute to the life of the church. Whatever the size of your contribution, the most important thing is that your giving is done gladly, willingly, gratefully and consistently. These are the attitudes and motives that scripture encourages us to display when giving. Why we give and how we give are just as important to God as what we give.
