Serving is where we reach beyond ourselves to contribute to God's purposes outworked through the local church. For Riverview to flourish, we need everyone to play a part! There is something available for everyone from weekend celebrations, events, opportunities in our local and global communities and internships. Great churches don’t just happen, they are built - and they are built by the many not just the few.
We can't wait for you to join the team!
As a volunteer of Riverview you are stepping into a position of trust and are a representative of Riverview and of Christ. As such it is vital that you understand and are willing to uphold, what we believe and value. The first step to Join the Team is to attend a Volunteer Information Session, where you’ll meet key team leaders, have your questions answered and learn what’s expected when serving at Riverview. These sessions are held on the first Sunday of the month at both our locations. Refreshments and a light supper will be provided, and registration is essential.
“I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy”
Riverview Community Services is the community care arm of Riverview Church. Through practical assistance, debt counselling and community outreach, we remain a constant presence in the Perth metro area for those who are experiencing challenging life circumstances and financial need. True compassion demands our action, and we’re so grateful to our Riverview family who generously give so that we can continue to serve our city.
Our Community Services programs are mostly outworked by volunteers whose goal is to promote and facilitate community and friendship with people.
